The work Maisons sur les quais by Franz Priking was sold in the Intérieurs auction at Christies in Paris in June 2006. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,340.00 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Franz Priking; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still life of fruit on a table sold at auction in March 2007 with the realized price of USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,306.86).

Die Arbeit Maisons sur les quais von Franz Priking wurde im Juni 2006 in der Auktion Intérieurs bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.340,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Franz Priking; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Still life of fruit on a table im März 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.306,86).
