The work Barques Echouees by Franz Priking was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in February 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 1,053.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Admittedly, works by Franz Priking have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life of fruit on a table in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,306.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Barques Echouees von Franz Priking kam im Februar 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.053,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Priking auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life of fruit on a table im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.306,86).
