This artwork by Franz Priking achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2009. In the Modern Art auction, the work Chantier Vii, 1958 sold for EUR 3,570.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Franz Priking; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still life of fruit on a table sold at auction in March 2007 with the realized price of USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,306.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Priking erzielte im März 2009 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Chantier Vii, 1958 für EUR 3.570,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Franz Priking; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Still life of fruit on a table im März 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.306,86).
