This artwork by Franz Priking achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in June 2011. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Still Life With Gourd And Flowers sold for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,377.13) - well above the upper estimate of USD 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Priking - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life of fruit on a table, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,306.86).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Priking erzielte im Juni 2011 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Still Life With Gourd And Flowers für USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.377,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Priking mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life of fruit on a table beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.306,86) versteigert wurde.
