In April last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Oh Delhi by Franz Ackermann. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 44,100.00 (€ 52,587.69), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Franz Ackermann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work b2 barbeque with the duke in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 299,200.00 (€ 440,056.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oh Delhi von Franz Ackermann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 52.587,69) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Ackermann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit b2 barbeque with the duke im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 299.200,00 (€ 440.056,08).
