Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mental Map by Franz Ackermann was sold in the Modern | Post War | Contemporary auction at VAN HAM in December 2020. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,257.00 22% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Ackermann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work b2 barbeque with the duke in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 299,200.00 (€ 440,056.08).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mental Map von Franz Ackermann wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern | Post War | Contemporary bei VAN HAM versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.257,00 und damit 22% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Ackermann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit b2 barbeque with the duke im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 299.200,00 (€ 440.056,08).
