The work Sans titre by František Kupka was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Sale auction at Christies in New York in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 75,600.00 (€ 70,959.26), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Kupka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,551,600.00 (€ 8,871,184.71).

Die Arbeit Sans titre von František Kupka wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 70.959,26) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Kupka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.551.600,00 (€ 8.871.184,71).
