Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shadows of Evening by Frank William Cuprien was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November 2021. The price achieved of USD 14,025.00 (€ 12,425.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank William Cuprien - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Opalescence, which sold at auction in August this year for USD 51,200.00 (€ 47,236.83).
