Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work In Golden Mist by Frank William Cuprien. The price achieved of USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,023.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frank William Cuprien have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Opalescence in August this year with an auction result of USD 51,200.00 (€ 47,236.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit In Golden Mist von Frank William Cuprien zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.023,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frank William Cuprien auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Opalescence im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 51.200,00 (€ 47.236,83).
