The work Shadows of Evening by Frank William Cuprien was sold in the California and Western Art40th Anniversary Auction auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in October 2020. It achieved a price of USD 20,075.00 (€ 17,236.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank William Cuprien - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Opalescence, which sold at auction in August this year for USD 51,200.00 (€ 47,236.83).

Die Arbeit Shadows of Evening von Frank William Cuprien wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion California and Western Art40th Anniversary Auction bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.075,00 (€ 17.236,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank William Cuprien mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Opalescence beobachtet, die im August diesen Jahres für USD 51.200,00 (€ 47.236,83) versteigert wurde.
