FRANK STELLA (B. 1936) Fattiburg, from Imaginary Places II lithograph, screenprint, etching and aquatint in colors with relief engraving and stamping, on TGL handmade paper, 1996, signed and dated in pencil, numbered 'AP 5' (one of twelve artist's proofs, the edition was 75), published by Tyler Graphics, Ltd., Mount Kisco, New York, with their blindstamp, the full sheet, in very good condition, framed Diameter: 32 in. (813 mm.)

This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Edition at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Stella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Point Of Pines in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 28,082,500.00 (€ 25,188,357.70).
