A top price for Frank Mason Good - as previously expected
In November 2001 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction PHOTOGRAPHS, which included the work Untitled (Trees after a storm) by Frank Mason Good. The price achieved of USD 4,112.50 (€ 4,590.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Trees after a storm) is the most expensive artwork by Frank Mason Good that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2001 führte Christies in Los Angeles die Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Trees after a storm) von Frank Mason Good zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.112,50 (€ 4.590,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled (Trees after a storm) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Frank Mason Good, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
