In the Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes auction, the work Unknown sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,640.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by François Meuret; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait Of Robert Arthur De Acres, Marquis De L'Aigle (1843-1931) sold at auction in May 2020 with the realized price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,182.56).
