Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,227.03). Admittedly, works by François Meuret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Robert Arthur De Acres, Marquis De L'Aigle (1843-1931) in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,182.56).
