In the Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes auction, the work Unknown sold for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,556.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François Meuret - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Robert Arthur De Acres, Marquis De L'Aigle (1843-1931), which sold at auction in May 2020 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,182.56).
