Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled I by Francisco Sobrino for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,387.76). This price was achieved in the auction Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples Online at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Sobrino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Permutationelle M in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,068.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled I von Francisco Sobrino für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.387,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples Online bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Sobrino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Permutationelle M im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.068,27).
