Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scene Villageoise Au Portugal in February 2007 with an auction result of EUR 49,329.00.

Die Arbeit L'Adoration von Francis Smith kam im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Smith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scene Villageoise Au Portugal im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 49.329,00.
