Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The corner of Rue Clopin, Paris by Francis Smith was sold in the Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,125.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scene Villageoise Au Portugal in February 2007 with an auction result of EUR 49,329.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The corner of Rue Clopin, Paris von Francis Smith wurde im September 2009 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert.
