This artwork by Francis Bruguière achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in November 2015. In the Collection Shalom Shpilman vendue au profit du Shpilman Institute for Photography auction, the work Lights Rhythms C3, Vers 1928-1929 sold for EUR 16,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francis Bruguière have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Experiment, From 'The Way', C. 1925 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 123,750.00 (€ 93,977.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francis Bruguière erzielte im November 2015 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Shalom Shpilman vendue au profit du Shpilman Institute for Photography wurde die Arbeit Lights Rhythms C3, Vers 1928-1929 für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Bruguière auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Experiment, From 'The Way', C. 1925 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 123.750,00 (€ 93.977,83).
