A top price for Francis Bruguière - as previously expected
In April 2013 Christies in New York held the auction the deLIGHTed eye: Modernist Masterworks from a Private Collection, which included the work Experiment, From 'The Way', C. 1925 by Francis Bruguière. The price achieved of USD 123,750.00 (€ 93,977.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Experiment, From 'The Way', C. 1925 is the most expensive artwork by Francis Bruguière that we have observed at auctions so far.
