The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,170.33) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francis Bruguière have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Experiment, From 'The Way', C. 1925 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 123,750.00 (€ 93,977.83).

Die Arbeit Rosalind Fuller with Cello, c. 1935 von Francis Bruguière wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Visionaries: Photographs from the Emily and Jerry Spiegel Collection bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.170,33) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Bruguière auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Experiment, From 'The Way', C. 1925 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 123.750,00 (€ 93.977,83).
