A top price for Francesco Messina - as previously expected
The work Busto di donna by Francesco Messina was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 18,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Busto di donna is the most expensive artwork by Francesco Messina that we have observed at auctions so far.
