Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Danzatrice negra by Francesco Messina was auctioned at Il Ponte in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,300.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Messina have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Busto di donna in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 18,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Danzatrice negra von Francesco Messina kam im November diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.300,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Messina auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Busto di donna im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.000,00.
