Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work Three Men Bearing War Loot Up A Mountain Path by Francesco Salviati. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,957.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Salviati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Madonna And Child in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 312,500.00 (€ 281,709.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Men Bearing War Loot Up A Mountain Path von Francesco Salviati zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.957,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Salviati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Madonna And Child im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 312.500,00 (€ 281.709,19).
