It achieved a price of USD 56,700.00 (€ 49,082.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 62%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesca Woodman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Polka Dots, which sold at auction in October 2019 for USD 200,000.00 (€ 179,291.80).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 56.700,00 (€ 49.082,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62%. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesca Woodman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Polka Dots beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für USD 200.000,00 (€ 179.291,80) versteigert wurde.
