Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Rome, Italy) by Francesca Woodman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April last year. The price achieved of USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,174.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesca Woodman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Polka Dots in October 2019 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 179,291.80).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Rome, Italy) von Francesca Woodman kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 7.174,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden.
