Admittedly, works by Fouad Kamel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egyptian untitled (The Drinker) in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 111,329.74).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.602,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fouad Kamel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egyptian untitled (The Drinker) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 111.329,74).
