Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Egyptian untitled by Fouad Kamel was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2017. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,875.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fouad Kamel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egyptian untitled (The Drinker) in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 111,329.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Egyptian untitled von Fouad Kamel kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.875,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fouad Kamel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egyptian untitled (The Drinker) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 111.329,74).
