Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Fouad Kamel was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,391.40). Admittedly, works by Fouad Kamel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egyptian untitled (The Drinker) in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 111,329.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fouad Kamel wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.391,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fouad Kamel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egyptian untitled (The Drinker) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 111.329,74).
