In June 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Scrivans Publics by Fortunino Matania. The auction ended at the price of EUR 450.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 400.00 – 450.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fortunino Matania achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Complete Set of Illustrations For The Tinker'S Wig in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 11,760.00 (€ 17,429.06).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scrivans Publics von Fortunino Matania zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 450,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 450,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fortunino Matania erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Complete Set of Illustrations For The Tinker'S Wig im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.760,00 (€ 17.429,06).
