This artwork by Floris Jespers achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2011. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work A nude resting on a bed sold for EUR 3,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Floris Jespers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Jewish Girl in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 275,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Floris Jespers erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wurde die Arbeit A nude resting on a bed für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Floris Jespers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Jewish Girl im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 275.000,00.
