The work The Suitor by Florent Willems was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. It achieved a price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,286.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Florent Willems - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le départ pour la chasse au faucon, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 29,300.00 (€ 39,277.91).

Die Arbeit The Suitor von Florent Willems kam im Januar 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.286,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Florent Willems mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le départ pour la chasse au faucon beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 29.300,00 (€ 39.277,91) versteigert wurde.
