Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Florent Willems could be acquired at VAN HAM in October 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dekorative Kunst auction, the work Lautenspielerin am Fenster changed hands for EUR 516.00 - failing to meet the pre-set estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Florent Willems achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le départ pour la chasse au faucon in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 39,277.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Florent Willems konnte im Oktober 2011 bei VAN HAM für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dekorative Kunst wechselte die Arbeit Lautenspielerin am Fenster für EUR 516,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Florent Willems erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le départ pour la chasse au faucon im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 39.277,91).
