Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Miniatures, which included the work Les Jeunes Fiancés by Florent Willems. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,896.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Florent Willems achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le départ pour la chasse au faucon in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 39,277.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Miniatures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Jeunes Fiancés von Florent Willems zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.896,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Florent Willems erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le départ pour la chasse au faucon im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 39.277,91).
