Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo, which included the work La pappa by Florent Willems. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Florent Willems achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le départ pour la chasse au faucon in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 39,277.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit La pappa von Florent Willems zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Florent Willems erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le départ pour la chasse au faucon im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 39.277,91).
