Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Getting dressed in the boudoir by Florent Willems for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,239.18). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Florent Willems achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le départ pour la chasse au faucon in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 39,277.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Getting dressed in the boudoir von Florent Willems für GBP 840,00 (€ 1.239,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Florent Willems erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le départ pour la chasse au faucon im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 39.277,91).
