Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Feeding the new arrivals by Florent Willems was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2004. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,019.00 (€ 7,469.78). Admittedly, works by Florent Willems have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le départ pour la chasse au faucon in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 39,277.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Feeding the new arrivals von Florent Willems kam im Juni 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.019,00 (€ 7.469,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Florent Willems auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le départ pour la chasse au faucon im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 39.277,91).
