Auction result well in line with expectations
The work ¡Se viene el agua! by Florencio Molina Campos was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,191.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Florencio Molina Campos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Polo Player, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 60,231.22).

Die Arbeit ¡Se viene el agua! von Florencio Molina Campos kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.191,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Florencio Molina Campos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Polo Player beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 74.500,00 (€ 60.231,22) versteigert wurde.
