Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Florencio Molina Campos could be acquired at Christies in New York in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,124.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Admittedly, works by Florencio Molina Campos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Polo Player in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 60,231.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Florencio Molina Campos konnte im Mai 2017 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.124,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Florencio Molina Campos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Polo Player im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 60.231,22).
