In November 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Florencio Molina Campos. The »bidding war« ended at USD 37,500.00 (€ 35,450.94), 70% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Florencio Molina Campos; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Polo Player sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of USD 74,500.00 (€ 60,231.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Florencio Molina Campos zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 35.450,94) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Florencio Molina Campos; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Polo Player im Mai 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 60.231,22).
