Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Florencio Molina Campos achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2018. In the Latin American Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 43,750.00 (€ 37,489.29) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Florencio Molina Campos; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Polo Player sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of USD 74,500.00 (€ 60,231.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Florencio Molina Campos erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 43.750,00 (€ 37.489,29) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Florencio Molina Campos; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Polo Player im Mai 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 60.231,22).
