In July 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Open House, which included the work Kinetic Circle by Fletcher Benton. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,560.00 (€ 3,325.80), 52% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fletcher Benton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow Lilly in July 2015 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,601.74).

Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Open House durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kinetic Circle von Fletcher Benton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.560,00 (€ 3.325,80) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fletcher Benton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow Lilly im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.601,74).
