Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Year 6, Age 19 - Growing Pains by FEWOCiOUS was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in November last year. The price achieved of USD 252,000.00 (€ 244,115.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by FEWOCiOUS achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nice to meet you, I'm Mr. MiSUNDERSTOOD in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 2,072,000.00 (€ 2,454,760.39).

Die Arbeit Year 6, Age 19 - Growing Pains von FEWOCiOUS wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 244.115,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von FEWOCiOUS erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nice to meet you, I'm Mr. MiSUNDERSTOOD im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.072.000,00 (€ 2.454.760,39).
