Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Duino-once by Fernando de Szyszlo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2021. It achieved a price of USD 47,880.00 (€ 41,357.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fernando de Szyszlo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paclla Pampa (Campo Desolado), which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 182,500.00 (€ 126,947.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Duino-once von Fernando de Szyszlo kam im September 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 41.357,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Fernando de Szyszlo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paclla Pampa (Campo Desolado) beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 182.500,00 (€ 126.947,69) versteigert wurde.
