Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 3,290.00 (€ 3,527.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 4,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Burgdorff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Covered Wagon, which sold at auction in October 2003 for USD 11,352.50 (€ 9,779.05).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.290,00 (€ 3.527,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden.
