Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Boundless: Contemporary Art, which included the work China No. 14 by Feng Zhengjie. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,631.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zhengjie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,887,500.00 (€ 237,966.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit China No. 14 von Feng Zhengjie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.631,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zhengjie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.887.500,00 (€ 237.966,50).
