Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paisaje by Federico Herrero was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 15,120.00 (€ 12,875.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Federico Herrero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paisaje, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,753.32).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 12.875,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Federico Herrero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paisaje beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.753,32) versteigert wurde.
