Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Dota by Federico Herrero. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,048.00 (€ 6,944.78). Admittedly, works by Federico Herrero have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paisaje in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,753.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dota von Federico Herrero zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.048,00 (€ 6.944,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Federico Herrero auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paisaje im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.753,32).
