Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (Made in Tokio Japan) by Federico Herrero. The price achieved of GBP 8,925.00 (€ 10,153.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Federico Herrero have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paisaje in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,753.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Made in Tokio Japan) von Federico Herrero zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.925,00 (€ 10.153,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Federico Herrero auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paisaje im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.753,32).
