The work Farideh Lashai by Farideh Lashai was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in September 2011. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,438.99), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Farideh Lashai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Amal in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 72,100.00 (€ 51,695.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Farideh Lashai von Farideh Lashai wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.438,99) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Farideh Lashai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Amal im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.100,00 (€ 51.695,71).
